Body, poetic and material mapping in nature
What it is
A site-specific ititnerant and nature-based route created together with the participants through the sharing of body and movement practices and the collection of sound, material, textual, visual and sensory traces.
How it works
It is a participatory creative process that leads to the creation of a map of traces elaborated in real time together with the participants through creative and movement work on the authorial gesture and the sensorial and material mapping of the surrounding environment.
Artistic research
The artistic research in this project aims to create a journey in nature, in which each participant will be an active part of the process, starting from the resources and creative capacities of each in relation to the group and the surrounding environment. Through the medium of performative language, the aim is to create a shared map of the territory where we can rewrite and re-invent a ‘space-time’ in which we can recognise ourselves as elements and part of a larger system.
Adults – Teen – Senior
Starting with the body and sharing practices of movement, listening and looking, the course aims to re-activate and focus the participants’ attention on their relationship with themselves, the group and their surroundings.
1) Re-activating and focusing the participants’ attention on the relationship and interaction between their own inner landscape, the group and the surrounding environment
2) To develop bodily and creative resources individually and in groups
3) To create a movement, material and sensory map of the route traversed
